"TARGET" A noble experiment in movie making, to see if , as many predict, digital video will democratize the movie industry by dramatically cutting productions costs., The three clips available here were shot as, literally, a "no budget" production. Other than the money spent on tape stock, and a few dollars at Home Depot for hardware, we can safely say, "all the money is right up there on the screen." While "Target" may not completely fulfill the promise of digital video, as an early experiment, it succeeds in demonstrating a few of the possibilities. Check it out. And feel free to hiss the villain and cheer the hero. For those of you interested in the technical aspects of putting together a digital video shoot, I've provided a diary of the production which covers the problems we faced and how we dealt with them.
