"Target" is kind of a modern day version of "let's put on a show!"

A friend had written a short script for an action/drama that he wanted use to make a "presentation" for a television series. Normally, even a short television presentation shot on film will run into the tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I decided to use, instead, a Sony PD150 that I was anxious to test in a variety of situations along with some post production effects I wanted to work with.

I lit and shot in such a way as to turn a small tech facility (our "barn") into the script's secret organization "control center". With the participation of several actors we put on our "show."

While our budget prevented us from producing a product that will make anyone forget "Mission Impossible," we came away believers in the possibilities that digital video offers.
